Formed in 1996 at stow college in glasgow,famously where belle and sebastian formed i didn't hear about camera obscura until 2005, compared to belle and sebastian probably because of geographical and style, they make top class tunes, very indie/coffee shop/second hand clothes store vibe. Tracyanne Campbell has a beautiful and soulful voice that goes along perfectly with the music, we have two of camera obscura players here. the most influentual group in the world? whatever your thoughts are the beatles are "the" group, i always thought that rubber soul and revolver would have made a better double album than the beatles(white) but thats just me, revolver is a class above though and a good document of a group who left touring behing and stayed in the studio, everythings on here and personaly i think the song that invented breakbeat as we know it, tommorrow never knows! revolver is always in the top ten of those best albums in the world lists and rightly so!

the master of rocking tunes, adam freeland is one of the most pioneering dj's out there, handed the mantle of inventing nu-breaks he is a genre defying dj who's remixes and dj sets are untouchable, i don't think i have ever came across anything he's done and thought it was shit, i may be biased as i am a major fan but still, the guy fucking rocks! this his addition to the GU cd's shows this, with a blend of breaks,electronica,rock,indie and even minimal the first disc booms while the second hits a more relaxed pace building up a banging crescendo, i know i've gushed here but fuck i don't care...................enjoy(the 2 discs are of 2 single mp3's, big files and check any music selling website for tracklisting)

it's billed as an unreleased album but a couple of the tracks sound like single edits from longer versions i've heard, was made aware of this when adam freeland remixed hello i love you, i'm a major fan of adams remixes(and pretty much everything else he does) and his remix is worth entry money alone, which in this case is nothing so just forget that and check it out

this is typical indie disco stuff or whatever the fucking N.M.E call it these days! again when i first heard this i thought it was sounding fresh but that opens the floodgates and then you have every second band sounding the same! basically what you hear on mtv2 but it's cool stuff and the girls in the band are all hot so yay!

oi oi. this blog is my way of giving the public tunes! there is lots of music on the web for sure but my aim is to post the links to mostly full albums and songs that float about the net, though legally not sound i'm only telling you about it, so until told otherwise i'll be posting. the blog itslef is open to anything though and other things may appear but feel free to say whay you like and hopefuly enjoy the music. i'll mostly be posting indie/rock/dance/electro as genres go but it's open to allsorts.

i will try and update every week but finding stuff can sometimes be like waiting for a bus, if you don't like whats getting posted then feel free to request and i'll see what i can do.
